Data Collection and Usage
At FindPicLocation, we prioritize your privacy and data protection. Here's what you need to know about how we handle your data:
- We store account information provided during sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile image, and authentication records.
- We store uploaded images and search records to process requests and let you revisit results. Records may include image URLs, supplied context and metadata, inferred locations, explanations, alternative results, and saved Deep Search events and images.
- We retain search status, timestamps, errors, credit usage, and whether a request came from the browser or API. We also maintain API access-key records and daily usage counters.
- We store subscription, payment-reference, and credit-balance information to provide paid services and reconcile payments. Payment providers process checkout and payment details.
How Our Service Works
Search processing and storage support both browser and API access:
- Images may first be uploaded to temporary object storage and then retained with a saved search. They are not automatically discarded when results are returned.
- We send relevant images, text, and search context to third-party AI and search services to identify potential locations. Mapping services help display and verify results.
- Hosting, database, object-storage, authentication, and payment services process information needed to operate the service. Their handling of data is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Public Sharing
Saved search result pages are not public by default. If you enable public sharing, other people can view the shared result and its displayed images and details without signing in. You can turn public sharing off again.
Turning sharing off does not remove copies already saved by others. Do not upload images you are not authorized to process or disclose.
Retention and Deletion
Saved searches and associated images remain available in your history unless deleted; we do not promise immediate deletion after processing or a fixed automatic expiry for search history.
- You can delete individual searches from your history or clear all search history from your profile. Cleanup cannot run while a search is running.
- Search cleanup removes saved search records and associated images from our application storage. Clearing all history also removes temporary uploads associated with your account.
- Clearing search history does not delete your account, API access keys, usage counters, credits, subscription, or billing records, and does not cancel a subscription.
- Deletion from application storage does not guarantee immediate removal from caches, operational logs, backups, third-party systems, or copies saved by other people.

Analytics and Cookies
We use authentication cookies and load Google Analytics and Google advertising scripts:
- Authentication cookies support sign-in and session management.
- Analytics and advertising services may collect device and browser information, IP addresses, identifiers, and interactions with the site. We do not claim that all such collection is anonymous.
- Browser privacy settings and tracking controls can limit some collection. Blocking cookies alone may not stop all analytics or advertising requests and may affect sign-in or other features.
